A Bowspring Weekend of Expansion + Renewal

Join us for an extraordinary weekend of movement, healing, and transformation at , where we will immerse ourselves in the powerful and restorative Bowspring method.

Over the course of two days and four workshops, we will explore the healing ingredients of posture and movement, reconnecting with the natural curves of the body and awakening our inner light.

Day One: The Radiant Heart & Wings of Expansion

Our journey begins with the heart—our radiant center of light. In this opening session, we will explore the expansion of the chest and thoracic spine, learning to honor our natural curves and cultivate a posture that invites openness, strength, and grace. Through breathwork, movement, and hands-on guidance, we will ignite the luminous presence within.

In the second session, we take flight with the wings—learning how the arms, shoulders, and upper back support a posture of freedom and upliftment. By refining the placement and engagement of our wings, we open pathways for deeper connection, releasing tension and unlocking the heart’s full expression.

🌱 Day Two: The Roots & Spiraling Path of the Core

As we enter the second day, we drop into our foundation—the hips, legs, and feet, which provide the propulsive power that grounds and energizes us. Through dynamic movement and deep exploration, we will awaken the hara (center of creative energy), enliven the posterior chain, and learn how to harness our strength while staying light and agile.

In our final session, we step into the wisdom of the spiral. Just as plants grow in an upward and outward trajectory, we too are meant to spiral into our highest path. By integrating the 360-degree core of the waist and the neck, we will unlock new dimensions of fluidity, ease, and energetic expansion

What is Bowspring:

Bowspring is a revolutionary posture and movement method designed to create balanced strength, fluid mobility, and an open, radiant posture. Unlike traditional alignment approaches that emphasize rigid, linear positioning, Bowspring works with the body’s natural curves and tensegrity, creating a spring-loaded, dynamic form that enhances movement efficiency and restores vitality.

About Samantha Simpson

Samantha Simpson is a movement teacher, bodyworker, and women’s health advocate with over a decade of experience helping individuals build strength, mobility, and confidence through postural alignment and functional movement. She specializes in pelvic floor health, spinal integrity, and pain-free movement, guiding clients to restore balance and resilience in their bodies.

As the only Bowspring teacher in her area, Samantha offers a unique, dynamic approach to posture and movement that supports healing, energy flow, and long-term vitality. She integrates bodywork and behavior modification techniques to help clients break free from limiting patterns, fostering sustainable, pain-free posture and movement.

Passionate about education and empowerment, Samantha shares her expertise through workshops, retreats, private sessions, and speaking engagements, inspiring others to unlock their full physical and energetic potential.

About Josiah Helland

Josiah is a dedicated Bowspring practitioner and movement teacher with 2.5 years of experience. He has co-taught partner Bowspring classes alongside Samantha, bringing a deep understanding of fluid, dynamic movement to his practice.

A musician by trade and a descendant of the Yaqui tribe, Josiah has toured across the country performing on his handmade Native flutes. He weaves together sound healing and movement, using flutes, sound bowls, and other instruments to create a deeply immersive and restorative experience during workshops and healing sessions.
